I have got a same problem.

I can’t get it to install at all.
Have workstation 7 and player but still nothing, tested all the methods out there and the silly vmware keeps rebooting and comes up operating system not found.

Can anyone tell me what the hell i am doing wrong?
I am using retail snow leopard 10.6.3

i can`t boot from dvd or macos.iso…why?

Worked like a charm. Taking occasional snapshots after any changes is important, but keeps it running. Thanks!

I get a spinning color wheel, but never get to the install.

Have you enable virtualization on your bios ?

I followed the steps but get an error “MAC OS X is not supported with software virtulization. To run Mac OS X you need a host on which VMware Workstation supports hardware virtulization.”

I have a Lenovo X61 with a T7300 CPU. Intel shows this CPU supports VTX.

Any idea?? thanks
